VIsual Identity - Longhair
The visual language chosen was done for a number of reasons not the least of which was bandwidth concerns. Longhair was on the internet in 1997 when most people were still on dialup. The design, in order to load quickly had to use colors,images and backgrounds that would load quickly when 3K per second was considered a good connection to the internet. We decided to take the aesthetic into a European realm with the pencil yellow signature color, deconstructed use of type and lots of neutral space [ white space ]. >>
